November 2026 Newsletter

Some big changes landed to Club 1933 in October 2026, and as the season enters its fourth month already, exciting times lie ahead.

October was a month of movement.

We brought you some great content in October, and covered three fixtures across the month: Hartlepool United v Tamworth in the National League, Newcastle United v Aston Villa in the Premier League and Everton v Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup. Three different grounds. Three different levels of the game. Three different matchday experiences, and we loved every single one.

That variety is part of what Club 1933 is about, documenting football, whether it is a Premier League night under the lights or a National League afternoon with its own character and community.

A clearer direction

October also brought a decision we have been thinking about for a while. From here on, Club 1933 will focus its coverage on Newcastle United and the non-league football of the North East of England. Newcastle has always been part of the identity of this project. It is where the brand began, where much of the inspiration comes from and where the strongest stories sit. By focusing our work there, we can go deeper: the matchdays, the people, the places and the culture around the club.

The North East has a football culture that deserves to be documented, and non-league football is a huge part of that.

November

Looking ahead, our November begins with a Monday night at St James’ Park, as Everton visit. It is a fixture that sets the tone for the month. More Newcastle United fixtures follow, and with them more opportunities to document the club, the supporters and the atmosphere around matchday.

We are also looking forward to bringing women’s football into our coverage this month, with the Tyne-Wear derby on our radar. It is an important part of the football landscape in the North East, and a fixture we are keen to cover.

Members decide December

November is also the first month that members will be able to vote on which fixtures Club 1933 attends in December. That is a big part of what our membership is becoming. It gives members a say in the work we create and makes the project more of a shared thing, rather than something that simply happens around them. As the club grows, membership becomes more than access to content. It becomes a way to be part of the direction, the decisions and the stories we choose to tell.

Thank you

We also welcomed another two members to Club 1933 in October.

Thank you to everyone who has joined so far. Your support helps make the photography, films and stories possible, and it allows us to keep building something with real care behind it.

We are still early in this. There is a lot more to come, and now is a good time to be part of it.
